If you have an issue disassociating, not being grounded or consistently day dreaming then you need to engage your mind and body in an activity that requires you to be present. Coloring, drawing, physical exercise, martial arts or a new class. Personally I used martial arts, rock climbing and manual labor. These activities help get me back in the moment and aware of my body in the space it occupies. Find your method, try several different ones and see which works best for you.
