Can Reflexology give relief to Plantar Fasciitis?

Reflexology is an alternative approach based on the idea that the reflex areas on the hands and feet correspond to the organs & glands of the body. It is believed that it can help a range of problems, such as back pain and digestive issues, but some turn to reflexology to relieve plantar fasciitis symptoms.

Some of my customers come to me with running-related injuries to the foot and reflexology treatments can provide a great deal of relief and stress reduction to that area.
When you’re suffering from plantar fasciitis symptoms, a foot massage may actually be just what you need, especially since a reflexology session includes stretching the areas that cause plantar fasciitis symptoms. This may relax the ligaments and muscles of the foot and increase circulation and flexibility. That, in turn, may reduce the pain and inflammation that is caused by plantar fasciitis.
