This International Women’s Day, Recovery at the Crossroads proudly recognizes our dedicated women leaders who make a lasting impact in behavioral health every day.
Nadine Talley, MSW, LCSW, CTSS, Clinical Director, is grateful to be part of an organization that not only values women in leadership but actively fosters an environment where healing, growth, and dignity are extended to every individual, regardless of gender, religion, race, or ethnicity. At RAC, women can feel confident that their voices, experiences, and challenges will be met with respect, understanding, and the unwavering belief that they deserve to thrive.
As an organizational leader, clinical practitioner, and, most importantly, a mother, Nadine's own path has been shaped by moments of triumph and disappointment, confidence and uncertainty, growth and vulnerability. She is committed to improving lives by meeting people where they are and honoring the unique needs of those who find themselves at a "crossroads".
Laurel A. Vnucak, MS, Human Resources Director at RAC has experienced firsthand how powerful it is to be part of a profession rooted in empathy, resilience, and advocacy. As a woman working in the behavioral healthcare industry, she has been placed at the “Crossroads” of business, science and humanity—supporting staff who in turn support clients through some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. She is especially proud to be part of a team that actively supports and values women in the workplace. She is grateful to work alongside colleagues who uplift one another and share a commitment to advancing behavioral health with compassion, equity, and purpose.
Our finance department manager, Mindel Gordon, also values being part of an industry and organization that makes a measurable impact. Her role allows her to support the clinical mission through strong financial oversight, organization, and accountability. She has experienced steady support from leadership, meaningful opportunities to take initiative, and a collaborative culture grounded in professionalism and mutual respect and feels proud to be part of the team.
Thank you - Nadine, Laurel, and Mindel - for supporting healing and recovery and leading the way in behavioral healthcare.
