💡 Dental Tip Tuesday: The “Angle” That Cuts Your Plaque in Half
Most people brush with the bristles flat against the teeth — which misses the area that matters most: the gumline.
The proper angle:
Tilt your toothbrush 45 degrees toward the gums.
This lets the bristles slide slightly under the gum margin where plaque hides.
What this improves:
Less bleeding
Reduced gum inflammation
Lower risk of recession long term
A tiny angle change = visibly healthier gums
