Welcome to the team Lesa Johnson!
Lesa Johnson is a native to North Georgia. She was born in Copperhill, TN and raised just over the Georgia line in a little town called Morganton Georgia. Lesa started out as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1990. She moved to East Tennessee in 1992 and earned her Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Walters State University in 1999. She continued her education in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from East Tennessee State University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Lincoln Memorial University in 2009. Lesa is board-certified by the ANCC for Family Nurse Practitioner as of 2010. She has worked and practiced for over 30 years in primary care, hospitals, nursing homes, and home visits. She is very familiar with managing chronic conditions, conducting routine check-ups, and providing preventive care to ensure the overall well-being of patients. Lesa will share she always gravitates back to the Geriatric patient. She enjoys working with the elder patient - addressing the unique health needs of older adults, promoting healthy aging, and managing age-related conditions. Lesa returned to the area four years ago to take care of her family. She is very excited to serve her hometown community at Trinity Primary Care. Her favorite scripture Ephesians 4:32 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
