Earlier this week, an emergency preparedness drill was conducted at our affiliated facility, Union County Nursing Home. The drill simulated a missing resident, giving staff the opportunity to work alongside our county partners in responding to this type of situation.

Team members implemented the nursing home’s emergency plan and practiced the necessary steps to manage an emergency effectively. This was a valuable experience for all involved, especially newer staff, with strong emphasis placed on coordination and communication. A total of 25 participants took part in the drill. Thank you to everyone who participated!
