Looking for an easy, fun way to support your child’s speech and language skills this winter? Try our “Snowball Search & Say” activity — no special supplies needed.

All you need is scrap paper and something to write with! Write winter words or draw simple pictures, crumple them into “snowballs,” hide them around a room, and let your child search for them. Each time they find one, practice their word, describe the item, answer WH-questions, or make a sentence. Then toss it into a bowl for extra fun! This simple winter game works for articulation, vocabulary, following directions, and sentence building — and adds a little winter magic to your home.
