We were sad to be told on Friday night that Mike Ryan from Blanchardville died at the care center he was living at in Johnson Creek.

Please keep Mike's daughter, Lindsey in your thoughts and prayers, also his siblings Larry (Beverly) and Tim (Barb) Ryan.

Due to ongoing construction on Main St. in Blanchardville, we are inviting guests who come to visitations and services at Blanchard Hall to enter in the back entrance in the gravel parking lot under the canopy. We will have a couple handicap parking spaces available by the back entrance. The rest of the guests are welcome to park in the community parking lot between the library and Fire/EMS Community building.

It is with deep sympathy that we announce Susan Meier, formally of Blanchardville, died on Monday March 16th at her home in Verona surrounded by her family.

"Her legacy is one of love made visible: one handmade gift, one warm meal, one steady presence, and one act of kindness at a time."

Irene Virginia Baker passed away on March 14th, 2026, at the Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville, with her daughters by her side.

In recent years Lucy Luitjens lived in Dodgeville where her son Jeff (Brenda) and their boys live, but lived most of her life in Minneapolis. We are honored that Jeff asked us to help them after her death. Please keep Jeff and his family in your thoughts as they celebrate Lucy's 99 years!

With heavy hearts we share that Herbert Schraepfer of rural Hollandale, died on Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his family.
"Herb cherished his daily time on the farm, particularly during planting and harvest, and loved gathering with friends for coffee and playing euchre."
