Headaches are dumb….I think we can all agree on that!

On this picture you can see in red where smaller muscles are commonly put into spasm by head posturing/positioning and even straining your eyes when you are on the computer or your phone that can cause referred pain. We call these type of headaches cervicogenical headaches because they come from the neck.

Be sure to drink plenty of water and take regular breaks from your screen.

A large scale study in 2018 showed that no exercise may be worse for your health and even increase your risk of premature death more than diabetes or smoking! !

Being unfit should be treated as a disease that has a prescription, called exercise, the study's author said.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
- One in four Americans aged 65+ falls each year.
- Every 11 seconds, an older adult is treated in the emergency room for a fall; every 19 minutes, an older adult dies from a fall.
- Falls are the leading cause of fatal injury and the most common cause of nonfatal trauma-related hospital admissions among older adults.
- 20% of falls result in serious injuries
