these are my go-to summer wellness shots… fresh lemon, ginger, and turmeric for a quick reset. i love that my does it all—juicer, plant milk, and even sorbet—so it’s basically my whole wellness routine in one.

🍒🍋 gluten free lemon cherry cookies

soft, pillowy, bakery-style cookies with a bright lemon sugar coating + dreamy cherry frosting

🛒 ingredients

cookies

* 1 box mix
* 1 egg
* 4 tbsp room temp butter
* 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
* 1–2 tbsp milk (as needed)
* zest of 1 lemon
* 1 tsp vanilla

lemon sugar

* 1/4 cup sugar
* zest of 1 lemon

cherry frosting

* store-bought vanilla frosting
* 1–2 tsp cherry powder
* optional: splash of cherry juice

👩‍🍳 instructions

1. in a bowl, cream together butter, Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla
2. add cake mix + lemon zest and mix until soft and slightly sticky
(add a little milk if needed)
3. in a small bowl, rub lemon zest into sugar
4. scoop dough into small balls and roll in lemon sugar
5. place on baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes
(centers should look slightly underbaked)
6. gently press tops right out of the oven for that soft bakery-style finish
7. mix frosting with cherry powder until smooth and fluffy
8. pipe onto cooled cookies and top with a cherry

* Greek yogurt = softer, more tender cookies
* don’t overbake (this is the secret to that soft texture)
* the frosting is a shortcut… but tastes completely homemade
