❤️In Loving Memory of Major❤️
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Major Eades, surrounded by his closest loved ones, on February 14, 2026. The 14-year-old chocolate Labrador, with his serene spirit and compassionate soul, left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
He cherished the simple pleasures in life: the splash of water as he swam, the satisfying bounce of a well-loved tennis ball, naps under anyone’s feet, and, of course, food—always food! His happiness was pure and uncomplicated. Major communicated his love through a wag of his tail, a soft look, or a gentle nudge.
Major was not loud or demanding(unless you mentioned snacks); his kindness spoke volumes. With soft eyes and a steady presence, he had a unique ability to make people and pets feel safe and welcome. As Marlboro Vet’s official greeter and blood donor, Major took his role very seriously. He offered calm companionship, quiet reassurance, and the kind of comfort that only a truly good dog can provide, all while saving lives by donating blood to patients if needed. He lived a full life of steady, quiet service and love.
Fourteen years is a gift, but it never feels like enough. Major leaves behind brown fur in every crevice and corner, and a space in the heart that can never be filled — only honored.
Run free, sweet Major. Chase all the tennis balls. Swim in endless water. Eat like every day is a feast.
You were so deeply loved. You always will be.
