🎉 Resident of the Month: Ms. Donnis
Ms. Donnis is truly a grandma to us all! Her quick wit keeps us on our toes, and her sense of humor keeps us laughing and smiling every day. She shared with us that she loves the snow and couldn’t wait to get outside — and she absolutely looks beautiful doing it! We are so blessed to have her as part of our family. ❄️💙

👏 Employee of the Month: Jacob
Our Employee of the Month is extra meaningful because nominations come straight from our residents. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about Jacob — especially highlighting his patience and his kind heart. We are so proud to have someone like Jacob on our team, and even more proud that our residents feel so cared for by him. Congratulations, Jacob! 🌟

🏓🥚 Today we played a little ping pong into the egg crate game and needless to say, we definitely got our workout chasing those ping pong balls around! 😅
We also took time to celebrate our January birthdays, complete with smiles & lots of laughs! 💙🎂

Despite the cold weather, we’ve had no call-ins from multiple departments, and that speaks volumes about the heart of this staff. Our residents are warm, cared for, and surrounded by people who genuinely show up for them. This is what dedication looks like and we are so proud. 💙

Triniti started with us right out of LPN school, & we are so excited to announce that she officially passed her boards! 🩺✨

We want to give a big shout-out to Michelle for Activities Appreciation Month!

Michelle loves sunshine and sunflowers, and she truly brings that same bright energy into our home every single day. Her positive attitude and sunny smile light up the room, and she shares that joy with our residents as often as she can. 🌻☀️

She is always dreaming up new, creative activities and encouraging residents to try new things. We truly cannot thank her enough for the love and dedication she pours into our residents.

Today, with Elara Caring, we proudly hosted our first Vet to Vet Café! 🇺🇸☕

The Vet to Vet Café is a time to enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, snacks, and—most importantly—camaraderie among those who have served. Our goal is to host a Vet to Vet Café the third Thursday of the month, connecting our in-home veterans with fellow community veterans and partners.

📅 Our next Vet to Vet Café will be held on 2/19 — come visit with us and enjoy a snack and great conversation!

December may have been a bit hectic, but it was never too hectic to recognize our resident of the month. Just a little late on our post! 💙

Please help us congratulate Mr. Gary, our December Resident of the Month! Gary feels like the heartbeat of our home. He has such a familiar and comforting presence to both staff and residents. On any given day, you can find him singing a tune, sharing a positive word, or offering just a little friendly teasing to make sure everyone’s spirits are lifted.

We are so thankful for his joy, his kindness, and the light he brings to our days. Congratulations, Mr. Gary. We are blessed to have you! 👏💫
