The Bloomfield Care Center's Veterans Day ceremony took place at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month. Resident Veterans were honored with a patriotic musical performance by members of the Davis County High School Band directed by Jeff C. Many of the students thanked the Veterans for their service. Honorees were seated at a special table and given gifts by Laura B. from Davis County Veterans Affairs. The "Missing Man" table is also a tradition here at the care center.

A new and fun activity at Bloomfield Care Center is "Cooking With Janelle." Our administrator has a monthly "Cooking Show" which really spices up our activities! This month's recipe was fried donuts with cinnamon and sugar. Residents gobbled them up and washed them down with our own hot mulled apple cider! Delicious!

Residents and staff at Bloomfield Care Center were delighted to treat hundreds of cleverly costumed children and adults during our annual "Beggar's Night" event on Halloween. Please enjoy some snapshots of our evening!

Bloomfield Care Center's annual pumpkin decorating contest was a huge success! There were many quality entries, making voting quite a challenge. The "People's Choice" winner, made by Emerson, was the "Smoking Frog." The winner in the "Scariest" category, was Connor with his "Scary Clown." Awarded "Most Uniquely Decorated" was the delicious-looking "Ice Cream Sundae" created by Jarett. Great work, everyone! This year's prizes were generously donated by J's One-Stop, Mimi's Kitchen, and Sweet Caroline's. Thank you, everyone, for participating!

Bloomfield Care Center was rockin' on Thursday afternoon with the sweet sounds of Dave Simmons. Dave delighted the residents as he performed some new material along with some old favorites - country, classic rock and gospel. Thank you for entertaining us, Dave!

On Friday, October 17th, Bloomfield Care Center residents, Mulberry Place tenants, and team members showed their Mustang Spirit during the annual Homecoming Parade. The weather was perfect for cheering on our teams, band, and other organizations as the parade route swept past our home! We really appreciate being included in the parade route! Go, Mustangs!
