We are excited to welcome Rebecca Redfern to Indiana Horses Helping Humans!
Rebecca officially joins the team April 1st as an Equine-Assisted Learning facilitator, bringing with her many years of experience working with both horses and people.
Rebecca has recently completed the Horses Helping Humans theory training and is continuing the certification process as she begins working alongside us to help prepare our horses and learning environment for upcoming sessions.
She also holds certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, bringing valuable knowledge and experience to the work we are building here at Indiana Horses Helping Humans.
Her work with horses centers around awareness, emotional regulation, and authentic communication — principles that are at the heart of the Horses Helping Humans program.
As we continue preparing to launch sessions, we are grateful to have someone who shares such a deep respect for both the horses and the meaningful work they help make possible.
Rebecca will be helping us continue developing our herd and preparing the horses for the powerful work ahead with students, families, and community members.

Yes, I am that WARHorse 💞

A WARHorse is an older, independent-minded equestrian who wouldn’t trade her life for anything. Managing her own horse stable, she finds purpose in early mornings, muddy boots, and the quiet trust of her horses. Her old pickup is always ready, her loyal dogs riding in back, ears up and hearts full. Sure, age brings physical challenges and time commitments that can slow her down and test her grit. But her spirit is stronger than sore joints or long days. This life—horses, dogs, dust, and determination—isn’t just what she does. It’s who she is, and she loves every hard-earned moment. 🫶🐴🔥

Because of your support, we’re taking a big step forward.
IHHH is now applying for grants to add ADA accessibility (bathroom + pathways) and a covered arena to ensure that every client — regardless of weather, mobility, or season — has a safe, welcoming space.
