Today on the bench, we were conducting maintenance on a Sterrad NX. This sterilizer, unlike its steam counterparts, utilizes hydrogen peroxide combined with gas plasma to sterilize the equipment.

The main reason you would use this type of sterilizer is to sterilize delicate equipment that could be damaged by high temperatures. Some of these delicate instruments include endoscopes, cameras, and batteries.

For this reason continuos maintenance is important to keep delicate equipment sterilized and ready to use.
