Hot stones are officially here 🤎

This isn’t just about adding heat to your session…it’s about helping your body feel safe enough to let go.

The warmth allows the body to soften in a way that deeper pressure sometimes can’t reach on its own.

Less forcing.
More melting.
More receiving.

If your body has been holding onto tension for a long time, this is such a beautiful way to support deeper release without overwhelming your system.

Hot stones are now available as an add-on to any session at no extra cost.

5 signs your body might be asking for bodywork…

Sometimes our bodies send signals long before pain becomes severe.

A few common signs I see in clients:

• Your shoulders always feel tight or live up near your ears
• You feel stiff even after resting or sleeping
• You constantly feel the need to stretch but it never fully helps
• Stress shows up physically in your neck, jaw, or upper back
• You feel like your body just can’t fully relax

Our bodies hold onto more than we realize.

Tension can build over time from stress, posture, repetitive movement, and daily life.

Bodywork can help release those patterns, improve mobility, and help the nervous system settle so the body can function more comfortably again.

My April schedule is open but filling quickly if you’ve been thinking about booking. 🤍

Sometimes muscles don’t just need pressure… they need movement.

Many people carry tension in their bodies from things like:

• Sitting for long periods
• Stress and nervous system overload
• Repetitive movements
• Poor posture
• Old injuries

Over time, muscles can become shortened and restricted, which can lead to stiffness, tightness, and discomfort.

This is where assisted stretching can help.

During a session, I may gently guide certain muscles through stretches to help improve mobility, relieve tension, and encourage the body to move more freely.

When combined with massage and myofascial work, it can help create deeper, longer-lasting relief.

Our bodies were made to move — sometimes they just need a little help getting there again.

My April schedule is open if you feel like your body needs this kind of work 💛

What is muscle scraping?

You may have seen tools used during bodywork that glide along the skin — this technique is often called scraping or gua sha.

It works by gently stimulating the tissue and fascia to help break up restrictions, improve circulation, and encourage the body’s natural healing process.

This technique can be especially helpful for areas that feel stubbornly tight or “stuck,” like:

• Neck and shoulders
• Upper back
• Forearms
• IT bands and hips

The goal isn’t to cause pain — it’s to help the tissue move and function better.

Like cupping and myofascial work, it’s simply another tool I may use during a session depending on what your body needs.

Every body tells a different story, and my approach is always to listen and work with it.

What is cupping and why do people get those marks?

Cupping therapy works by gently lifting the tissue instead of compressing it.

The suction created by the cups helps decompress tight areas, increase circulation, and encourage the body to release stubborn tension patterns.

Some people notice circular marks afterward, which simply indicate increased blood flow to that area. They aren’t bruises and typically fade within a few days.

Cupping can be especially helpful for:

• Tight shoulders and upper back
• Stubborn muscle tension
• Athletes and active individuals
• Areas that feel “stuck” or restricted

It’s just one of the tools I may incorporate during a session depending on what your body needs.

Every body is different, and every session is tailored to support that.

My April schedule is open if you’ve been thinking about booking. 🤍

Why stretching doesn’t always fix tightness:

Have you ever felt like you’re constantly tight no matter how much you stretch?

Sometimes the issue isn’t just the muscle — it’s the fascia.

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle in the body. When it becomes restricted from stress, injury, repetitive movement, or posture, it can create tension that stretching alone doesn’t always release.

That’s where techniques like myofascial release can help.

Instead of forcing the muscle to lengthen, this work focuses on gently releasing the restrictions within the connective tissue so the body can move more freely.

Many people notice that once the fascia begins to release, the muscles naturally relax as well.

Our bodies hold onto more than we realize, and sometimes they just need the right kind of support to let go.

If this sounds familiar, my April schedule is open. 🤍

A lot of people think massage is just about relaxing tight muscles.

But the body is much more complex than that.

Your nervous system, fascia, stress levels, posture, and even your emotional experiences can all influence how tension and pain show up in the body.

That’s why my sessions aren’t just about applying pressure.

I focus on slowing down, listening to the tissue, and working with the body instead of forcing it.

Techniques like myofascial release, assisted stretching, cupping, and other therapeutic approaches help the body release patterns it has been holding onto.

Every session is a little different, because every body is different.

My goal is to help you feel more connected, more relaxed, and more at home in your body.

If you’ve been curious about trying this kind of work, my March schedule is almost full and my April schedule is open. 🤍
