Kids see gummy medicine like vitamins, melatonin, or cannab*s and think “candy!”
But they can be dangerous.
Here’s how to help your kids stay safe:
🍬Store gummies up, away, and out of sight, preferably in a locked box or cabinet.
🍬Never call gummy medicines “candy”.
🍬Keep gummies in their original container. Call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 to get connected to your local poison center. Poison Centers are here for you with confidential, non-judgmental, and free expert advice.

Today is International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Day! Please join us in thanking all IBCLCs who tirelessly support mothers and families during their breastfeeding journeys. Mothers need support at all levels, from the encouragement of peer counselors and the steady guidance of other lactation support staff to clinical lactation support from WIC IBCLCs. From helping adjust a baby’s latch to addressing milk supply and feeding issues, IBCLCs provide the gold standard of care in lactation. Thank you, IBCLCs!

âś…Review or create a family emergency plan. Update home & car emergency kits.
âś…Clean out the medicine cabinet and take expired/unwanted medications to a drug take back box.
âś…If you are spring cleaning, make sure cleaning supplies are out of the reach of small children who may mistake these for drinks/candy.
