I don’t post here very often since I closed my business and moved to a new line of work, but as this is a public page I thought this information was best shared here.
I remember when the findings on HRT and breast cancer were released. I was a new mom living in NYC, the towers had fallen the year before, it was a strange new world, the last thing I was thinking about was menopause.
Fast forward 20 years, I’m a woman of a certain age. The subject of menopause and symptoms seems to be danced around, made light of, and spoken about in hushed tones “the hot flashes are the worst” “I haven’t slept in ages” “I don’t feel like myself but I’m sure it will pass”.
Quite frankly, I think menopause sucks. This article was good for thought.

I heard the Study from 2007 in an NPR/BBC story back in that time. It was so interesting and powerful a story it stuck with me all these years. Pretty interesting article. Worth the read and considering what we choose to put in our bodies.
