Oasis Senior Advisors Algonquin is proud to be a member of the Bloomingdale-Roselle Rotary Club, helping make fun, meaningful service projects for our community. This month, students from local schools poured their hearts into nearly 600 handmade Valentines for senior citizens — filled with positive messages, knock-knock jokes, and lots of love. Thank you to Keeneyville Elementary SD 20, Bloomingdale SD 13, Medinah SD 11, Roselle SD 12, Lake Park Interact Club, and all the students who helped 🥰

Penny delivered cards this week to Alden Valley Ridge (met Emelia, Activity Director), Bella Terra (met Stacey Mae, Admissions Director), and Abbington (met Ashley, Activities). More deliveries to come next week — who will she visit next? ❤️

Today is National Wear Red Day ❤️

At Oasis, we see every day how important it is for older adults and their families to prioritize wellness, especially heart health.

Taking small steps like staying active, eating well, managing stress, and keeping up with regular checkups can make a meaningful difference at any age. Let’s use today as a reminder to care for our hearts and encourage our loved ones to do the same.

Our goal is to help older adults maintain dignity, choice, and quality of life while giving families peace of mind. This week Penny wanted to spread a little get-well cheer to two truly extraordinary ladies at The Woodlands at Canterfield. 💛

We are so fortunate to work alongside such an incredible community relations team — women who continue to show up with smiles, positivity, and dedication, even while facing their own challenges. As you can see, they’re both rocking special boots for different reasons… and one of these stellar ladies is even quietly powering through a broken leg!

Now that’s commitment. Now that’s heart.

It’s truly a labor of love, and we’re so grateful for all they do every single day. Please join me in sending them some extra healing thoughts and appreciation! ✨

Penny’s Adventures 🌴

This week, Penny joined the Bloomingdale/Roselle Rotary Club meeting and had a wonderful time! They hosted a great presentation from COD, where Penny learned all about what they offer their students. She also discovered how the Rotary Club serves the community through their many service projects—such as buying school supplies and warm coats for children in need, supporting the Humanitarian Service Project, helping food pantries, and partnering with many other organizations. Penny is always happy to lend a palm to those in need!💖

Penny also popped in to the Bloomingdale Chamber’s new event, Pop-Up Lunch Networking, at Mapleberry’s Pancake House in Carol Stream. She saw some old friends and met some new ones too! Cindy Allston, the Chamber President, is always helping businesses in the area and making great connections for people in Bloomingdale and the surrounding communities. Penny enjoyed a tasty bowl of chicken noodle soup on a very cold day.🍵

This week, Penny stopped at Duly to drop off some sweets. During her visit she learned about Duly's amazing Break-Through Care Centers, and she couldn't wait to share! These centers are a true game-changer for seniors who want a one-stop shop for their healthcare needs. Instead of juggling multiple appointments in different offices, Duly brings everything under one roof!

With locations in Addison, Aurora, Orland Hills, and Lisle, they provide holistic care with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and more. It’s all about making healthcare easier and more convenient for our seniors! We at Oasis Senior Advisors hope Duly's fantastic service continues to grow so even more seniors can benefit from this incredible care. Let’s spread the word!
