We love celebrating our residents birthdays here at Lakeview, as these are such meaningful moments! Our wonderful resident Marilyn was surprised all day long with balloons from her family and friends. 🎂🥳

We’re sharing a few photos from the other day as our Memory Care community celebrated Chinese New Year with vibrant decorations, meaningful traditions, and special moments with friends. From learning about the holiday’s rich history to enjoying festive foods, it was a wonderful way to honor culture, connection, and new beginnings. 🧧💛❤️

This month, our wonderful Culinary Manager, Peggy, and Active Living Director, Sue, created special Valentine’s-themed treats for our local first responders. One of our favorite traditions is loading up the bus with residents and personally delivering homemade goodies as a heartfelt thank-you to those who serve and protect our community.

These outings mean so much to our residents — offering connection, purpose, and the chance to give back. The smiles we receive in return are simply the cherry on top! ❤️🍫

Should you wish to join the group, but haven't made plans for your loved one, you're welcome to bring them with you. We'll arrange for them to have lunch with our residents while the group meets.

Time: We hold these on the 4th Thursday of each month. (This meeting is January 22nd, 10:30 AM - Noon)
