Some days veterinary medicine looks different. Today, we teamed up with Bryan county 4H and zoetis to provide vaccines for pets in our rural communities. A different set of PVH veterinarians and technicians served Chatham county at a spay/ neuter clinic today. It’s been a great day!

When your cat slowly blinks at you… it’s actually a sign of trust. 🐱

In the cat world, a slow blink means “I feel safe with you.” It’s their quiet little way of saying everything is okay.

Cats usually stay alert around things they don’t trust. So if your cat relaxes, looks at you, and gives you that slow blink… congratulations, you’ve been approved by the tiny house tiger. 😌🐾

Try blinking slowly back. It’s basically the official cat version of saying “I love you.”

That cute little head tilt is their way of focusing on your voice and trying to understand what you’re saying.

Dogs listen closely to tone, familiar words, and even your expressions. Which explains why the moment they hear “walk” or “treat”… the ears perk up instantly. 🐾😄

World Stray Animals Day 🐾

Sometimes a pet parent walks down the street and sees a stray dog quietly watching people pass by… or a small kitten curled up on the sidewalk, hoping someone will notice.

In that moment, their heart feels a little heavier. Because if you love animals, one thought always comes to mind…
