Zoe is a beautiful 3-year-old, spayed female Siamese looking for a very special home. She was either born with a malformed pelvis or experienced a pelvic injury as a kitten that healed abnormally. As a result, she has difficulty with bowel movements and is prone to constipation.
The good news? Her condition is very manageable with wet food, extra water intake, and a small daily dose of Miralax. She may occasionally drop a small amount of stool outside the litterbox, and her litterbox habits need to be closely monitored to keep her comfortable and healthy. Because of this, we feel Zoe would do best as the only cat in the home so her care can be carefully observed. She does well with dogs and is an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl.
Her pelvic abnormality has not affected her mobility, and aside from her bowel challenges, she has no other health concerns. While her future family should be prepared for potentially higher-than-average medical needs related to occasional constipation, we otherwise expect her health and quality of life to be just like any other kitty.
Zoe deserves a committed, compassionate home that understands her special needs and is ready to love her for the wonderful girl she is. If you think you might be the right fit, please reach out to Pooler Paws.
