Blooming Life was founded by Kim after realizing the gap in yoga and wellness availabilities in our community. Kim has taught yoga in studios, gyms, private residences and onsite locations throughout Bloomington-Normal. When approaching people to join her classes she was met so often with reasons and excuses why yoga wasn’t a good fit for some. Not flexible enough, too old, too big, too small, too busy, etc.

Recognizing that yoga has seemingly become focused on purely physical aspects as well as seemingly only accessible to thin, young, athletic types, Kim wanted to change that. was born years ago and has been the focus of her passion since then.
