My baby Nova Seraphine Bookwalter arrived Thursday the 22nd after a long labor of love. We are both healthy, awash in unfathomable love, and well cared for by our rich perinatal community including amazing papa 💗 special shout out to for being an essential part of our birth team and to and for keeping our bodies limber.

I'll be back in the massage space in late August/early September equipped with a whole new understanding of the perinatal body, along with this profound transformation into motherhood. Thank you for all your love and support.

Monroe County is under a Travel Warning, which is the "nope, not today" red alert of travel advisories. Here’s what that means:

• Stay off the roads unless it’s an actual emergency. No quick snack runs (your destination is probably closed anyway) and no "I’ll just pop out for a minute and pretend I’m in a holiday movie montage."

• Follow emergency plans and let the experts take it from here.

• Cheer on our essential and emergency crews from the comfort of your couch—they’ve got this covered.

City Hall will be closed tomorrow, but our incredible teams are still at it, keeping things moving behind the scenes. We invite you to send them a virtual high five.
