You pull together as a team, keep everyone safe and smiling, and make the best of it! Today our amazing crew showed incredible teamwork while caring for our residents — and of course we made it a little fun by ordering some of our favorite food.

Power outage or not, the spirit at our community always shines bright. Proud of this team for turning an unexpected situation into a moment of teamwork and laughter!

While today’s recipe wasn’t a brand-new one for us, it was definitely a favorite — mint chocolate cake! The kitchen was filled with delicious smells, plenty of laughter, and of course a tasty treat to enjoy together.

Each month brings a variety of great outings—from shopping trips and local events to scenic drives and community activities. One of the favorite traditions is the monthly breakfast outing to Perkins, where everyone can enjoy a delicious meal, great conversation, and plenty of laughter. 🥞☕

We are grateful for the continued partnership and support of our friends from Annunciation Church, who conduct a weekly Bible study for our residents as part of our faith-based programming.

These gatherings provide a welcoming space for reflection, prayer, discussion, and spiritual growth.

Faith-based programming is one of the many ways we support the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — while respecting each individual’s personal beliefs and faith journey.

Our weekly baking group took on a very serious taste test challenge: Dolly Parton cake mix vs. Betty Crocker cake mix.

Team taste buds went to work comparing flavors, textures, and frosting flair. It was a tough competition and honestly… it was pretty much eye for an eye!

At our community, we believe creativity doesn’t retire — it shines. Whether it’s painting, crafting, acting, writing, or trying something brand new, exploring your artistic side keeps the mind active, the heart happy, and the laughter flowing.

You don’t have to think you’re creative to be creative. Sometimes it just takes picking up a paintbrush, stepping onto a “stage,” or saying, “Why not?” to discover a hidden talent you never knew you had!
