We are now offering telehealth visits! This type of visit may be suitable for situations where labs and physical examinations are not necessarily needed, and can be a convenient option when it may be difficult to attend an in-person appointment.

On your period the same day as your appointment with us? We can still provide several of our services!

Blood will not interfere with a chlamydia or gonorrhea test.

IUDs tend to be easier to insert during a period.

Paps can still be done, but if the bleeding is especially heavy, it may be best to reschedule for a day when the bleeding is lighter or has stopped.

Checking for BV, yeast, or trich may be difficult for our provider during a period, as blood may obscure the view under our microscope. However, it can still be helpful to come in and discuss your symptoms. The provider can always tell you if the bleeding is too heavy to make a clear diagnosis.
