April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, a time to recognize the strength of those living with Parkinson’s disease and to raise awareness about this progressive neurological condition. Parkinson’s occurs when certain nerve cells in the brain break down and stop producing dopamine, leading to symptoms such as tremor, slowed movement, stiffness, and changes in speech, sleep, digestion, and mood.

At Noran Neurology, our Movement Disorders subspecialists provide expert evaluation and individualized treatment options—including medication management, surgical options like deep brain stimulation (DBS), and supportive therapies focused on mobility, balance, and quality of life.

PROVIDERS & HOURS We’ve been providing comprehensive neurological services for more than 45 years and currently see patients at six metropolitan locations in Minnesota. Our staff of 30 adult neurologists, six pediatric neurologists, four neuropsychologists, and seven Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Neurology is the field of medical science that studies the nervous system-the brain, the spinal cord and the body's complex network of nerves. Clinical neurology concerns itself with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nervous system.

Noran Clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases. All of our neurologists are board certified with additional subspecialty training and certification, as well as years of experience treating patients with neurological conditions. We provide state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, treatment and individualized plans of care for our patients.
