Oh, those pecs.

So many times, clients are surprised at how tight their pecs are. That's because pecs don't usually hurt when they're over-tight. Instead, they pull your shoulders forward -- just enough that our neck or upper back start to complain.
Then what do we do? We start stretching our elbows forward, pulling on that painful upper back even more!
We hear so much about stretching, but not enough about stretching properly.

This is our 53rd review. We had a perfect 5 star review up until this point and this client could have very easily texted “stop” to our marketing system or let us know she did not want to receive text messages (that she opted in to) instead of writing us a bad review.

Karol, Grace, and myself pour so much into our work, business, and clientele. Being a massage therapist is incredibly taxing physically, emotionally, and we always have to be in a caring, kind, giving, and pleasant mood. In the current world - that is a lot to bring to the (massage) table every single day.
So this is a very disappointing experience.

I did call this client to try and make things right and, of course, I immediately turned off texts for her.

Are you clearing snow today? I have advice!

Taking off this very cold day tale an online course called "Advanced Rib Technique" and I'm beyond excited.

I know my memory sucks and sometimes I feel really stupid because of it, but this is my THING and I learn massage the way some people learn literature or welding. ❤️
