Our overflow is overflowing! We're packing bundles of clothes to make an easy pick up to save you time. We're open Saturday, 1-3pm, Monday 11-2, Tuesday 9-1, Wednesday 10-3, Thursday 12-4, and Friday 11-1pm.

After more than six years of wearing a KN95 for every single massage session, I’m making a small policy adjustment.

Entering my second trimester, I’ve been experiencing pretty significant shortness of breath, and working in a tight mask all day has become genuinely difficult.

Moving forward:
• I will mask during supine neck & shoulder work (when I’m closest to your face).
• I’m always happy to wear a mask for the entire session if that’s your preference — just let me know.
• If you’re experiencing any upper respiratory symptoms, or if I am, I’ll mask for the full session.

My goal is to balance comfort, safety, and transparency while continuing to provide the same thoughtful care in the studio.

Kari integrates some really great infant massage techniques into this class. We hope you'll join us! We have some personal news to share 💛

I’m currently expecting a baby this fall.

This work—supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—has always been deeply meaningful to me. Experiencing pregnancy again is bringing a new layer of perspective and connection to the care I offer.

As I move through the coming months, Bloomington Birth & Bodywork will continue to operate with thoughtful adjustments to scheduling and availability. My goal is to continue showing up fully for clients while also honoring the needs of my own body and growing family.

I’m so grateful to be part of this community and to do this work alongside you. Thank you, as always, for your trust and support.

✨ Big (and exciting!) update at Bloomington Birth & Bodywork ✨
Over the next week we’ll be transitioning our scheduling system from Vagaro to GlossGenius to make booking smoother and communication clearer for everyone.
With the switch, there may be a few small growing pains:
• Clients may be asked to re-complete intake forms and liability waivers the next time they book
• All clients will now be asked to keep a card on file in the new system
• We will be discontinuing the use of our 3rd party SMS system, and all text communications will now be issued through Gloss Genius
• All clients will now be asked to keep a card on file in the new system

We’re also gently reinforcing our cancellation policy:
• 24+ hours notice: no charge
• Less than 24 hours: 50% of the session cost

This helps protect appointment time that could otherwise be offered to another client.

Thank you for your patience while we make this upgrade! I’m really excited about the improvements this new system will bring. If you run into any hiccups while booking, please feel free to reach out. 💛
