Seriously though, big shout out to Shake It Up, it's become my fave place to hang out in BloNo, great people on staff, good food, great vibes, and karaoke twice a week (hosted by Ryan of Evolution Entertainment BN) that's always a fun time.

It's breast cancer awareness month.

Early December 2017 I went for my annual mammogram. A VERY sharp-eyed radiologist saw something in the L b**b that they deemed needed investigating.

Ultrasound was inconclusive. Went in for a biopsy.

DCIS.
Ductal Carcinoma In Situ.

On one hand, it was the best news possible within the bad news spectrum, really. Technically Stage Zero, it was contained within the ducts.

But on the other hand: cancer

That was a fun start to 2018.
