New Hope Early Learning Center

New Hope Early Learning Center is a non-profit licensed, PTQ level 3 child care facility for families of all income levels.

New Hope Early Learning Center (formerly The Nest at New Hope) is a non-profit licensed child care center that provides early childhood programming to underserved populations in Bloomington, Indiana, specifically to children touched by homelessness and extreme poverty. We help families gain stability by giving parents the resources they need to get back to work, and more importantly, we provide the intensive, targeted intervention these children need to be the members of their families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty.

One of our board members, Mr. John Mitchell is now known as Mr. Keeps His Word with New Hope Early Learning Center staff!

Last August we had a staff retreat and he was a guest speaker. One of the things he said he was going to do was to bring donuts each Friday for all New Hope staff.

He has kept his word, over a year later, and we truly appreciate him for that!

New Hope Early Learning Centers first infant cohort is complete!

Huma started in our infant room back in 2022 and those infants are now preschoolers!

Huma and her teaching team, Beth and Emmanuella, will welcome their next group of infants tomorrow!

Our staff have done an amazing job the last 2 days with cleaning, rearranging classrooms and intense training to start off the new school year!

We are excited for another year!

During Ben's time here as the ELC director, he was able to hire in some highly qualified staff that we continue to benefit from. We will miss Ben's positive attitude and compassion for the New Hope family!

Indiana Early Childhood Award Nominations

Celebrate by nominating someone special for an Indiana Early Childhood Education Award! The awards recognize the best in our profession and are presented at the Indiana Early Childhood Conference to those who provide education, early intervention services and resources to all young children. Awards are also presented to those who serve and act on behalf of young children and their families to ensure their rights and well-being. You must be a member of INAEYC to submit a nomination. The submission deadline is January 3, 2025.

It's Caseworker Appreciation Week!
Of course, we honored our shelter team!
They are some of the most dedicated and hardworking individuals and we are proud to have them as a part of our team!

We had a round table discussion with our Executive director, Emily Pike and our teaching team!

We cleaned our classrooms, with the help of some amazing IU students and of course had some amazing food!
