🐾 Vendor Spotlight: Monroe County Humane Association (MCHA)🐾
At Monroe County Humane Association (MCHA), the team strives to advance animal welfare, deepen human-animal bonds, and extend accessible veterinary care and humane education across our community. This mission comes to life through the relentless efforts of their dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous supporters. They ensure every animal experiences the dignity and care they rightfully deserve.
MCHA fulfills this mission through six key programs:
🐶 Affordable Animal Care – Providing low-cost services through their non-profit veterinary clinic and mobile vaccine clinics.
🏡 Crisis Housing Program – Offering temporary shelter for pets during family emergencies, hospitalizations, or transitions to keep pets safe and families together.
🥫 Emergency Pet Food & Supply Pantry – Distributing over 14 tons of food and supplies each year to help families in need and prevent pet surrender.
📚 Humane Education – Promoting compassionate and responsible pet ownership and offering animal-assisted therapy programs.
🐱 Spay/Neuter Assistance – Reducing pet overpopulation through vouchers that help with surgery costs.
🚶 Street Outreach – Providing free veterinary care and supplies to pets of individuals experiencing homelessness or in transitional housing.
