We’re proud to share that Dr. Hansen and Minnesota Eye Consultants were recognized as Eye Donation Champions during National Eye Donation Month!

We were honored by the Lions Gift of Sight eye bank, who shared that our partnership plays a critical role in advancing their work and transforming lives across Minnesota and around the world. Dr. Hansen received 96 corneas for transplant, including 29 used on a medical mission trip to Honduras to help restore sight for those in need.

We’re grateful for this partnership and for the donors and families who make sight-restoring care possible.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — Deb’s retirement after 28 amazing years with Minnesota Eye Consultants!

Deb has been one of the first friendly faces our patients see at the front desk, greeting everyone with warmth and kindness for nearly three decades. From the original Minneapolis office with paper charts and copper lighting, to the many moves and changes over the years, Deb has seen it all. She’s known thousands of patients, supported countless team members, and created lifelong friendships along the way.

Her stories remind us how much Minnesota Eye Consultants has grown — and how much heart and dedication people like Deb have poured into making it the special place it is today.

Please join us in wishing Deb a happy, relaxing, and well-deserved retirement! We’ll miss her sense of humor, her kindness, and her commitment to both our team and our patients — but we’re so excited for this next chapter of her journey.
