Our area is under a Level 4 out of 5 severe weather risk today. McLean County Emergency Management Agency notes there is an 83% chance of an EF3 tornado in the red area of the forecast image. Please take this storm seriously, stay somewhere safe, and be prepared to take shelter.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop by this afternoon into early evening near a warm front draped between the I-74 and I-80 corridor. Storms will become more widespread across central Illinois late this evening and overnight.
