❄️ Dangerously cold weather is here ❄️
During extreme temperatures, our seniors are especially vulnerable—particularly those who are homebound. If you’re able to get out safely, please take a moment to call, visit, or check in on an older friend, neighbor, or loved one.
A simple check-in can bring comfort, reassurance, and even save a life.

Good afternoon, !
This weekend we are expected to get winter weather! If it is a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1.
**Please note we have one line when the office is closed, please speak clearly and leave a message with your name and phone number-the on call will return your call. Please allow 30 minutes for a returned call if you have left a message.

Preparing clients:
Encourage your clients to run errands before the cold snap hits but if they do need to travel during those extremely cold days, urge them to complete errands and appointments later in the day during the warmest times. Wear lots of layers and keep as much skin covered as possible to avoid further medical conditions/complications.

Please make sure when you are traveling during the bitter cold days that you are prepared as well.

Check your vehicle. Check your tire pressure, antifreeze levels, oil level, heater and defroster. Keep your gas tank full.

Emergency kit for your car. Jumper cables, ice scraper, blankets, snacks, car cell phone charger, first aid kit.
