We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Jenn Watters, Director of the Human Performance Center at Northwestern Health Sciences University, who recently served as a medical provider for Team USA at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.👏
Based in the Olympic Village in Livigno, Dr. Watters supported athletes competing in freestyle skiing and snowboarding events including halfpipe, big air, cross, slopestyle, aerials, and moguls. Her role included providing chiropractic and acupuncture care, managing illness and injuries, supporting emergency preparedness, and collaborating with medical teams across venues to ensure athletes had the care they needed to perform at their best.
For our students, alumni, and future healthcare professionals, this is a powerful example of integrative care on the world stage—where chiropractic and acupuncture play an important role in supporting elite athlete health and performance.
“Amazing time working with Team USA at the Milan-Cortina Olympics. Based in the Olympic Village at Livigno, I worked with teams competing at the Snowpark and Aerials/Moguls venues… It was great to reconnect with athletes I hadn't seen since Beijing 2022 and support the health and well-being of Team USA athletes and entourage.” — Dr. Jenn Watters
