🦖 🔥 I didn’t expect to get a soul reminder from a 4‑year‑old today… but here we are.

I was on the floor playing with Chandler, and his dinosaur kept devouring my army men. No matter what strategy I tried, this thing was unstoppable. Our “shooting” didn’t make a dent. The dino was basically immortal.

So I did what any defeated grown‑up would do…
I started retreating my army men back to their base (aka under the basket).

And that’s when Chandler stopped me, stood his tiny ground, and said:
“We aren’t going to beat him if we hide… we have to face him.”

Oof.
Straight to the soul.

Because don’t we do this in real life?
We try something once or twice, it doesn’t work, it feels too big, too loud, too impossible…
So we retreat.
