Calhoun Liberty Hospital is proud to share that we have been recognized with the Supply Chain Excellence Award from Alliant Purchasing, a national healthcare purchasing organization that supports hospitals in managing costs and supply operations.

This recognition comes as our team successfully transitioned into our new hospital - managing daily operations while standing up an entirely new facility.

A special thank you to Phoebe, Central Supply Supervisor, who led purchasing efforts for the new hospital. Her organization, follow-through, and leadership played a key role in making this possible.

We currently have full-time RN positions open in our Emergency Department and Med/Surg Unit, with both day and night shifts available.

Calhoun Liberty Hospital was proud to partner with the FSU Rural Medicine Collective over the past two semesters.

Last week, the group visited CLH to deliver the results of their work - including a patient education device, donated clothing and supplies, and artwork and get-well cards for patients. During their time on site, they also connected with our physicians and team members to learn more about care in a rural hospital setting.

From fundraising to hands-on projects, their team put real effort into supporting both our patients and staff.

We appreciate the time and work they invested in CLH and our community. 🫶

After retirement, Clifford Goodman found himself getting back to work - this time, rehabbing from open heart surgery.

For many in our community, Clifford is a familiar face as their pharmacist at Golden Pharmacy, where he spent decades caring for others.

At Calhoun Liberty Hospital, he was able to focus on rebuilding his strength right here at home - without the need to travel out of town - and get back to enjoying time with his family.

With support from our cardiac and respiratory rehab team, including Respiratory Director and Therapist Sandra Schul, he made steady progress every step of the way.

Now, he’s finished with rehab and doing great!

We’re proud to offer these services close to home - and even more proud to be part of stories like Mr. Goodman’s. 💙
