New research shows teens who use cannabis have about twice the risk of developing bipolar disorder or psychotic disorders later on. Depression and anxiety rates are higher too, especially for those who start earlier.

The bottom line? "It's just w**d" isn't a plan. The younger the brain, the more development is still happening.

If you're noticing changes in mood, sleep, motivation, or grades alongside cannabis use, early intervention makes a real difference. Call today at 513-792-1272.

Teens who reported using cannabis in the past year had a higher risk of being diagnosed later with several mental health conditions compared with teens who did not report cannabis use.

Have you heard about Scromitting? For some people, frequent cannabis use, especially of high potency cannabis, leads to intense vomiting. This disorder is known in medical communities as Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome, and it can be hard to diagnose, which leads to unnecessary medical tests.

Among young people, there has been a 10-fold increase in emergency department visits for vomiting linked to cannabis use between 2016 to 2023.

Uncontrolled, explosive vomiting after ma*****na use, called “scromiting,” is on the rise in the US, including among teenagers. Here’s what you need to know.
