HONOR A LOVED ONE | Light Up a Life

UHD Hospice's 37th annual Light Up a Life event runs throughout the month of December. A tree lighting ceremony will be held on Friday, December 5 at 5 p.m. at the Hospice Office in Blue Earth (125 S Main).

For just $10, you can make a donation in memory of a loved one. Donations can be mailed to UHD Hospice, PO Box 160, Blue Earth, MN 56013.

Trees will also be located in Bricelyn, Buffalo Center, Delavan, Easton, Elmore, Fairmont, Frost, Ledyard, Minnesota Lake, Sherburn, Wells, and Winnebago.

Make plans to visit Blue Earth's Holiday Sampler on Friday, Nov. 14! UHD is sponsoring the Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, 5-8pm, loading at the Senior Center (W 7th & Main Sts). See you there!

Be sure to make plans to attend the Holiday Sampler tomorrow! It will be the perfect way to kick off your holiday season with shopping, treats, and atmosphere!

It’s National Radiologic Technology Week – THANK YOU to our wonderful Medical Imaging team members for the care and skill you bring to each patient! Jamie, Betty, Tracy, Lindsey, Jacklyn, Dana, Chloe, Leslie, Jessica, Elida, Danika, Taylor, Dayna, Ariel, Rachel, and Erin.

The UHD Medical Imaging department performs various imaging studies including Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Bone Densitometry, Mammography, CT (Computed Tomography) and Sonography. UHD also offers mobile services including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), NM (Nuclear Medicine), Echocardiograms, and specialized Vascular studies.

Provider Spotlight!

David Franta, PA-C, has been practicing at UHD for two years. He grew up in Winnebago and after finishing PA school, he returned to the area. During his time at our Blue Earth Clinic, he’s made a positive impact on our community and the patients we serve. Some of his patients have had this to say:
