The feisty, ready for action energies of Ta**us Full Moon come on a wave of what has most value and most practical benefit for all. The immediacy of responding to the sources of greatest suffering arises full force, for each of us individually and all of us together. This lunation is a SuperMoon, one of a few this year at closest approach to the Earth generating stronger influence particularly in the realms of emotions, internal processes, and dreaming asleep and awake. This puts us in touch with the very core of problems at crisis level right now and over most of the year.

Wed 5 5:19 am Moon perfects exact opposition to Scorpio Sun at 14th degree of those signs. It’s an alignment taking us deep into the more hidden or mystifying areas calling for facing the worst with dedication to finding the alchemical formula for transmutation. Applies in the personal and collective experience with wide open opportunities on the 2025 cosmic-earthly agenda. 3 major aspects bring the forces of change into more precise alignment accompanied by a dynamic, unstable, electrified opposition between Mars and Uranus. Pluto at the head of the Kite pattern foretells a face off between the oligarchs (whose greed has no limits) and the People. Jupiter in Cancer as part of that aspect echoes the higher intentions and possibilities present while Venus, Neptune and Saturn complete the Kite enabling progress in the bigger themes we’re all working with. Certainly power dynamics are at the forefront from the personal realm to the national and international.
Grand Cross is the next major formation with Jupiter, Chiron-Eris, Pluto and Venus creating a potent square that can manifest as feeling pulled in many directions at once. The more skillful use of that pattern is in devoting ourselves to centering, conscious breathing, and commitment to taking actions only resonating with “the good of all.” On the world stage the standoffs have huge implications for further disaster but are mitigated only by the extent the collective intervenes loud and clear. At this time there are 3 or more ongoing genocides with the national and international communities coming to the point of exhaustion and at the same time building a renewal of fierce resistance to the profiteers.
Venus’ role in the lunation in late degree of Libra strongly favors collaborations, negotiations and important turning points in all relationships and partnering of any kind. Venus also benefits efforts at coming to better balance and effectiveness in financial matters and resource management. The power push to force us into digital money where we lose control of our own finances is meeting with big resistance in England, France and other places and beginning to grow in the U.S as Venus square Pluto-Jupiter and opposite Chiron-Eris assure. Venus will continue to instigate greater balance personally and collectively for next few days.

Thur 6 Mars and Pluto make friendly company with each other continuing motivation for actions aimed at freedom from the more oppressive situations in individual experience and in the world. Venus quincunx Neptune requires extra sensitivity in all personal and professional dealings without which results are likely messy, confusing, ambiguous. In the afternoon Venus enters Scorpio for next few weeks of going deep into those realms of relationships and acquiring or distributing resources. Planet of values, self valuing, priorities, aesthetics in tense aspect to Uranus by 3:31 pm pushes for an adjustment in those areas, one or more of them.
Meanwhile 2 planets about to turn retrograde in coming days add elements of caution to making moves before thorough review and investigations are accomplished.

Fri 7 Uranus the Awakener slips back into last degree of Ta**us in its retrograde pass emphasizing the areas of money, all material resources, the biosphere in general which includes all earth movements, of which there continue to be many. Venus square Pluto exposes more power games in our economic reality and in all manner of encounters and alliances. The ongoing agenda right now for the brightest planet in the Solar System is to help us make things fair and equal wherever personal, community or national soveriegnty is challenged. And this at a paek with Full Moon’s illuminations. Personal finances undergoing changes or needing to be re-negotiated with ourselves to optimize good use of what we have.

By Sunday at 11:02 am Mercury goes full on Trickster until the 29th, turning retrograde at 7th degree of Sagittarius. Next 3 weeks of reviewing, remembering, re-doing have emphasis on the meaning behind all information, messages, news stories, as Sagittarius sends Winged Messenger, Traveler Between the Worlds, on the path of truth and higher consciousness. We’re more able to get an overview of what’s going on locally and beyond, and also our own thinking on important matters. Wherever 21 Scorpio to 7 Sagittarius fall in natal charts are areas of particularly thorough explorations if we intend to maximize the opportunity. Of course the miscommunications and delayed schedules are part of this passage; being aware makes the glitches easier to get through. And making important agreements or alliances best left until the retrograde pass ends.

Tuesday the 11th is Jupiter’s turn to retrograde for the next few months. At 25 degrees Cancer this period through winter ’25-’26 calls for fine tuning our personal and collective nurturing and practicing mutually supportive relationships. From self care to family, tribe, community and beyond our role in a suffering world (of our own making) is crucial. Jupiter’s passage will re-cross Cancer back to 15 degrees when it pivots direct in March. This abundant opportunity for reviewing and improving anything in our domestic realm needing attention, and anything related to the House placement of Cancer in personal charts, won’t come around again for 12 years.

We’re at First Quarter Aquarius Moon square Scorpio Sun presenting the challenges we’d best focus on with intention, boldness and most importantly compassion. If we remain in alignment with our own authenticity the next week will go smoother on the particularly bumpy road to the Full Moon on November 5th. Intensity builds toward the lunation requiring fine tuned practices and open awareness. If maintaining equanimity we maximize possibilities for personal transformations as the Lights “turn on” full blast. For those born in the years 1945-49, 1988-90 having extra powerful experience as natal Pluto is squared or opposed by Ta**us Moon.

Wed 29 9:21 am Sun-Moon square starts us off with emphasis on where bringing together deeply felt emotional states with mental clarity needed as much as possible. Free of succumbing to one or the other. All aspects and voices must be acknowledged for optimal navigation of these stormy waters. And Mars trine Saturn in water signs addresses that realm with activation of the energy of raw emotions needing to be channeled for healing and balance. Those planets increase volume on the inner voice and offer a productive ways to work with whatever arises. Meanwhile Mercury has entered Sagittarius opposing erratic and inspirational Uranus around midday for mental breakthroughs, crazy good conversation or writing, surprises and shocking messages no doubt. That means any contacts with Uranus are bound to be particularly out of sight,
Practicing mindfulness always a good idea, also willingness to entertain the most peculiar or outside our experience ideas and tactics. Of course the review aspect of Mercury’s cycle is with us encouraging all of it and cautioning to not jump into anything important without thorough going over. Winged Messenger also warns “watch your step” as Uranus speeds up already fast moving feet and/or vehicles. Planet of communication urges us over next few weeks especially to connect with each other with concerns,fears, insecurities. This fuels the kind of coming together most desperately needed now. And we all ahve important decisions to make over 6 weeks ahead. And in the area of life where 22 Scorpio to 7 Sagittarius fall in natal charts.

Thur 30 Mercury the Magician in favorable aspect with Pluto the transformer assures deep conversation, thinking, writing if we don’t squander the opportunity. Ability to be present and authentic in all those areas is pronounced, words and gestures go further than usual in impact. Aquarius Moon trine Venus early afternoon benefits interactions of all kinds with a relatively lighter, easier quality. Evening lunar patterns can fuel curiosity perhaps leading to a new perspective, while last aspect square Mars cautions using more skillfulness in expressing emotions or may lead to succumbing to most negative feelings.

Fri 31 Pisces Moon in conflict aspect with Uranus and Mercury early may compel speaking too soon or promoting misunderstanding in one way or another. However could be excellent for creative expression, especially writing and singing or exploring the realm of psychic perception. Moon’s evening trine to Scorpio Sun may expand on whatever we were about in the morning, offering more ease in self expression. We can ask for healing dreams before going to sleep or sing a sweet song, spirit to spirit, to someone with whom we have a painful relationship. Sometimes making a silent prayer or communicating in spirit with another is the most powerful thing we can do.

Sat 1 Venus in one of her home signs still opposes Chiron, the bridge into our multi-dimensionality where all the miraculous resides. Pisces Moon endorses that level of experiencing ourselves and the world we’re part of. Get ready though, the dreaded and nonsensical (in a particularly bad way) time change is happening overnight. At least at this time of year there’s the illusion of gaining an hour. In any case it always has negative impact on our natural circadian rhythm, an important aspect of well being, encouraging getting off balance in physical equanimity.

Sun 2 Very early Luna trine Mars and opposite Neptune may well emphasize a sense of altered time, feeling fuzzy or ungrounded. However that makes it a good time for meditation, dreaming, diving into fantasy or going back to sleep. By 7:39 am Moon enters Mars’ ruler Aries with a call to action that must be responded to over next 2 days into Tuesday morning with potentially kick ass Full Moon imminent if ignored. Venus square Jupiter offers a generous amount of good feelings though, along with favoring improvements in all kinds of relationships money matters, artistic endeavors and social situations. Must exercise a bit of restraint with the possible excesses encouraged by this combination, but all out graciousness, empathy, and truly beneficent caring for each other are best possibilities.

Mon 3 Moon’s sign ruler Mars in Scorpio trine Neptune signals following instincts to find the most positive way forward, willing to trust that way of choosing which direction to take, a few hours before Mars enters Sagittarius for next 6 weeks. That will be a more adventurous, freewheeling period where taking risks and exploring all kinds of new territory is calling us out of our all too little world.

Tues 4 8:16 am Moon enters earth sign Ta**us making a tense aspect with Mars right off strongly suggesting a shift in what we’d thought we’d do, while Mars opposes Uranus ensuring that will be unexpected, surprising, shocking and/or inspired. Another day to be extra cautious in movements as accidents can happen with the 2 most sudden movement oriented planets facing off. In the larger realm righteous anger is growing into an explosion of resistance to any inhumane, authoritarian, against the People actions hitting us every day.

AstroRain Report October 22 - 28
Neptune’s slide back into Pisces on its retrograde pass heightens all experiences of alternate consciousness, the more vast areas of mind we’re indoctrinated into dismissing, ignoring or devaluing. And yet the realms of dreams, imagination, psychic and creative vision are crucial aspects of human life. Planet ruling Pisces, free roaming, open to the sacred and the miraculous especially in its native sign is ending its journey of the last 14 years in next few months. It’s been a time for once again honoring re-integrating those aspects that provide necessary insight, inspiration, guidance and balance in lives so immersed in what we need to do to maintain in a culture of materialism, competition, social inequalities and a war machine based world economy. Neptune in Pisces is about the sense of being lost experienced when feeling separated from the soul of the world and our own individual soul. It rules the chaos and confusion and growing mayhem evolving from that alienation. Neptune in Pisces above all has been re-connecting us with the Mystery; all encompassing, entirely interconnected sea of existence. We benefit most from adopting/occupying an attitude of a traveling Soul in Wonder.
Deceptions used to keep the masses under control have been used for millennia, in particular the last 5,000 years of colonialism where the most “democratic” nations have been the most violent by committing genocide, land theft, enslavement of cultures earth based and living in harmony and reciprocity with their world. The delusions of colonialism have come to a peak and now exposed by Neptune’s wisdom for what they are; false paradigms dressed as truth and the way things should be. It’s a huge mess for sure, could not be any other way as old paradigm collapses and new/ancient paradigm arises more every single day. One foot in one world the other foot in a whole different world is how I’ve been describing this transition for many years. Our job has been to find our own ways to navigate through this dynamically changing energy field and maintain some equanimity while learning about and incorporating the new ways forward. No small tasks! More and more we need to acknowledge to ourselves and each other that this all takes enormous energy we don’t usually even notice or properly name. Self care is crucial.

Wed 22 Neptune’s spin 2:48 am, subtle but powerful in particularly diffuse and enigmatic ways. Wisps of memory, vision, music or other sounds may inspire insights if we give them attention rather than hurrying on past the more subtle perceptions. This heightened influence has been more with us last few days at least and next few with today’s energy field overflowing. Windows into the vastness of imagination open wide, a perfect time for out of this world wanderings for one’s own well being and/or for creating from magical space. Sorrow and unprocessed grief are part of the emphasis as it’s time for allowing those emotions into our lives while honoring their part in ultimate healing. Also encouraging more space for meditation and deep contemplation supporting too often over taxed systems as we navigate the day to day..
Water has been for years and will be for next few months a crucial concern with the latter part of this transit in a world where humans invite artificial reality to use up that essential to all life on the planet element. Along with many other important and immediate concerns with water uses, abuses, destructive storms, flooding. So much to get right with, Neptune in last gasp in Pisces into early 2026 announces in no uncertain terms.
Sun in equalizing Libra forms a difficult aspect with Neptune in the evening before entering water sign Scorpio 8:51 pm. That last aspect before changing signs insists on a shift in perceptions that may salvage a stressed relationship or help to let go altogether. It can suggest an adjustment in a financial matter as well, and on the world stage Sun’s parting bow in the cardinal air sign highlights the need to make agreements and negotiations in good faith or suffer ever more complex and harrowing consequences in the international community.

Thur 23 Sun and Moon in Scorpio immerses us in the depths of the emotional, psychic realms of darkness; darkness within and without. A place dreams are birthed and discoveries made that fuel us at the soul level. Hidden treasures to be found but only as we’re willing to face the keepers of the gate, so to speak, willing to see whatever is there in the deepest velvety blacks where light hasn’t yet been born. Moon’s aspects create multiple opportunities for those excursions from early til 9:14 pm when it shifts to Sagittarius. Meanwhile Sun’s next difficult aspect with Uranus promotes sudden emotional releases, uninvited revelations counter to usual expectations. However this plays out for us the main caution is in not getting knocked off balance by whatever comes our way. When we create from the darkest places within transformative potential is magnificent.
Jupiter and Chiron add a generous helping of nurturing and nourishing possibilities into this darkly focused day. Consciousness expands into the realms of highest healing potentials both individually and within family or community systems and beyond into the global community. Increased insight into what we can create together as a collective catches the world’s attention. But don’t expect the media to announce it except in cluelessly unconscious ways. Moon enters mutable fire sign 9:19 pm lifting us further into the realm of optimism for the future and our collective and individual potential. A great practice now is to cultivate being happy about the future while holding images of the kinds of coming together that makes all good things it possible, especially as Moon opposes Uranus last aspect of the day. Carrying this kind of powerful collective magic forward into every day is key!

Fri 24 Scorpio Sun square Pluto for the next challenge from outer to inner planets reiterates the theme of transforming nightmares into healing dreams, personal demons into allies. And in the wolrd at large remembering humans include all of it, the good, the bad, angelic, demonic, so we can stop labeling each other in old paradigm either/or, positive or negative categories and start communicating and communing. Sagittarius Moon continues to elevate us to a place we can see all that and more if we’re willing. Along with all this Mercury in Scorpio’s x-ray vision sees into the darkest places for deeper comprehension in aspects early with Chiron and Jupiter. There may be a bite to the Chiron aspect, pushing for compassion and care in our words and all communications including self talk. All encouraging the transformative potentials for each of us and the whole world right now. Writing and conversation may be powerful, authentic, deeply explorative today if we’re willing to show up for it.

Sat 25 Sagittarius Moon helps to keep the mood even while Mercury trine Saturn helps with making a plan, organizing those deep thoughts, finding the right way or place to share thoughts and concerns and entertain creative muses. Good time to plan the next adventure! Moon’s late aspects with Chiron and Jupiter enable entering territory that may be scary or painful but can be ultimately enilightening.

Sun 26 We may not want to awaken from the dream this morning but as Moon shifts to earthy Capricorn by mid morning it’s time for getting on with the tasks of the day likely with a bit of a twist as Luna and Uranus engage in a tussle requiring a shift from the usual.

Mon 27 Mars rules the day in dynamic patterns formed with Chiron in the morning, Jupiter at night. Tensions around long held emotional patterns may arise with the powerful suggestion to do something productive about whatever has come up rather than stew in a negative state of anger, irritation, or frustration. Capricorn Moon helps even further with problem solving as it squares Venus in the evening when Mars-Jupiter connect for amplified insight, empathy, x-ray vision deeper into areas of concern, and with potential healing protocols.

Tues 28 Jupiter and Mars carry over the profoundly transformative pattern that can generate healing resolutions within old family or domestic issues, or other close connections, with motivation to act for the good of all involved. One month from the Solar Eclipse on September 21 the New Moon arrives Monday the 21st with extra potency of the feminine realms where consensus, collaboration, negotiations are the challenges we must meet. If we begin this cycle individually and together committed to these crucial elements of human societies we’ll go far in the coming months. The last eclipse at end of Virgo helped us leap through the barriers to getting down to real business for the work to be done.

Wed 15 Extravagant Leo Moon in confrontation with Mars in Scorpio early colors the day with deep, compelling emotions. There may be powerful urges to act on whatever creative inspirations arise, ones that may have been taboo to immerse in up to now. As well this pattern may surface old suspicions, anger, fears benefiting from a bold commitment to deal with it. Possibility is to transform the scary and/or raw emotions through creative imagination. Sun-Moon connect in an easy sextile as the day unfolds in support of any efforts at finding balance and equanimity in any situation or relationship matter.

Thur 16 Sun square Jupiter is wildly generous and insists on explorations in how to be create better, truly nurturing care for self and others. That said Sun opposing Chiron, exact today, highlights the oldest and most painful relationship and/or self valuing wounds along with the means to go further into healing them. That requires fierce honesty with self and willingness to assert our most authentic version of self in all relationships. Artistic expression of all kinds, even those we don’t label “art” can be an even more powerful healing tool now and over next many days. What ever we do to extend validation, appreciation or support of others’ autonomy has major impact as well.

Sat 18 Mutable earth sign Moon says be diligent with chores and stick to personal ethics in all things or experience immediate consequences. That’s good because quick feedback gives us a look at what needs clearing up in our commitment to be our best selves. Sun 19 Day begins with Sun-Saturn demanding an adjustment in what we want to do and what we need to do perhaps. In any case good to bring those concerns together in an amicable way, allowing room for all. May require divesting some responsibility that isn’t really ours after all. However this can bring fierce emotions out in the open, raw feelings being thrown about. The Lights form 3 major aspects involving all the outer planets generating so outside the box we may surprise ourselves at what has opened up and/or what we’re now willing and able to proceed with. Such cosmic magical forces are nothing to be ignored! Attempts at doing so is, and will be, exhausting. Sun-Moon square Jupiter and Pluto in1st T-Square, oppose Chiron-Eris in 2nd, both of them expanding length and depth to which we may go to manifest the very finest intentions for relationships, improved resource management and any aesthetic endeavors.
Mars-Mercury merge forces in a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter, Neptune and Saturn, another potent combination of energies at work on most pressing, and ultimately soul fulfilling, ideas, alliances. The direction forward being illuminated to the extent we’ve allowed space for inner reflection. From Fierce to Tender to Justice for All: Venus in Libra

Heightened presence and impact of divine feminine arises today and tomorrow, empowered and electrified by Pluto and Uranus in 3 days of a potent Grand Air Trine. Pluto’s role especially strong as it pivots to direct motion 7:54 pm PT, it’s potency intensified over last few and next few days and peaking today. Pluto means business in the most profound ways that skip over any of the tactics used pervasively to cover up what’s really going on or the ultimate origins of a long held problem. Uranus send the Divine Lightening Bolt of raised vibrations liberating us further from outworn cultural and religious dogmas on all levels of experience from the feminine perspective.
Outer planet Neptune must complete the trilogy of important life changing players as Venus perfects her opposition today in the winds of wild grace blowing strong. This pattern adds a softening influence, a place where surrender to the grace of just being alive helps orient us to where and who we need to be now.
