I want to take a moment to normalize the fact that we don't "get over" the death of a loved one. It is normal to feel sadness 5 years later, 10 years, 20 years etc. I lost my father 5 years ago and he has been on my mind a lot this week as he would have been 71 today. I still cry sometimes and that's normal. I still wish I could ask for his advice, that's normal. Don't let anyone tell you to "get over it"
