It was founded by the Sisters of St. Mary and relocated from downtown Kansas City to Blue Springs, MO in 1981. The hospital was purchased by Prime Healthcare Services in 2015. With 24-hour emergency care and state-of-the-art cardiovascular services, St. Mary's provides a wide range of services St. Mary's Heart Center, 24-hour Emergency Department, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Certified Stroke Center, Breast Center, Rehabilitation Center, Outpatient Therapy, Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Pain Center and the only Inpatient Rehabilitation Center between Blue Springs and Columbia, Mo. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center and has earned recognition for its heart attack and stroke care.
