The Wellness Farm Foundation is a 2.5 acre nonprofit therapeutic farm in Bluffdale, Utah.

We are proud to announce that we are expecting a bundle of joy. And by we, obviously we mean our resident ducks. Cricket (male, mallard) and Cotton (female, white) have laid an egg! They are new to our farm family, a bonded pair that needed a safe-space to relax and live without the stress of city life. We were happy to be able to provide that for them and can’t believe they are already expanding their flock. We are so happy to be part of their journey. 🩷

And Cotton, also known as Mud Bug, loves putting her head in the mud. We hope you enjoy this video of her doing what she loves as much as we do. 🤣

We have loved watching this little guy grow up. Seeing him transform and step into his own reminds us of the journey to self-healing and internal peace. For Sawyer, he is in the right space (home, environment, etc) and feels safe knowing he is cared for and fed, comfortable being who he wants to be is becoming easier. Often, these are the same things needed when trying to deal with the emotions of grief or trauma. And that’s why we are here - we provide the safe space and the nourishment of teaching and understanding what grief/trauma is, which in turn allows people to share their experiences and continue healing. We are honored to be able to do what we do. 🫶🏽

🫶🏽 We had to add another half-day grief retreat to our schedule due to such a high demand for our Loss of a Loved One meeting. If you missed the chance last time, or simply would like to join us for support during the holiday season, we’d love to have you.

As our turkey Huckleberry says, THANK YOU! He was sure showing off, displaying his feathers proudly and we couldn’t help but feel like he’s showing his gratitude to all of our Giving Tuesday givers. For the donations, shares/comments, registering to join our training in January, we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in helping us out. We will do incredible work because of it. 🙏🏻

Our Givers highlight today goes out to all of the generous people who helped us hydrate our animals. Creating our water system for our stalls/pens was no easy task, as you saw in the previous video, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the ability to make it happen. Our first giving highlight comes from the McCombs family. Through their generous contribution we were able to finish our permanent water line to provide hydration for our animals. We are so grateful they chose to honor our work by helping us take care for the animals we adore far into the future. Thanks so much, McCombs Family! 🫶🏽

The Tuesday following Thanksgiving every year is dedicated to giving back - a global generosity movement to help organizations transform and continue their work in their communities.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit that fully relys on donations from the community, we would be honored if you would consider supporting us! Even though we finally have our certificate of occupancy, we still have several things to do to make this building a home for our community.

We have been able to make unbelievable transformations happen due to incredible GIVERS who have recently helped us achieve some of our goals. We will be sharing some of the impacts their donations have had at the farm all week, to highlight our amazing giving helpers. 🩷

Thankful this day for our newest residents! Lee 🐑 and Zoey 🐷 just got to the farm this week and are settling in well. Their backgrounds include a little bit of trauma and we are so happy to be able to provide them a safe-place to live after what they’ve been through. Your donations, support, and view/shares help us create this sanctuary for animals and humans to heal - we are so grateful you let us be part of so many lives. Happy thanksgiving! 🍁
