What this looks like is different for everyone.
Connecting with a supportive friend, upbeat music and a nature walk, an open and honest therapy session or a thoughtful decision to start medication after a consult with a medical professional.
It is also useful “to be” with your emotions instead of avoiding them. Emotions are meant to be “emoted”, felt, reflected on and then processed for deeper understanding.
Then, we shift toward where we feel loved and comforted instead of ruminating and staying stuck in negativity.
