Please don't. Here's why:

1. Exfoliants don't cleanse.
2. Exfoliants polish off dead skin cell buildup and break up the intracellular glue that keeps dead skin cells from sloughing off, giving you smoother skin texture.
3. Overusing exfoliant will lead to a damaged barrier, resulting in redness and irritation.
4. Don't exfoliate if you are taking antibiotics or steroids, which thin the skin, making it susceptible to barrier damage.
5. Dont exfoliate if your skin is red and painful.
