Bluffton Family Chiropractic Our office is located on May River Road near downtown Bluffton. We have 7 doctors in our practice. Dr. Jeff Aita has been in practice for over 30 years.

Dr. Jeff grew up in N.J. where he met his wife, Carol when they were both in middle school! They married and moved to Chicago so Dr. Jeff could go to chiropractic school. After graduation they moved to N.C. where they had a practice for over 20 years. They raised their 3 children in N.Wilkesboro, N.C. but later fell in love with Bluffton and Hilton Head. They moved to Bluffton in 2003 and open this office. Dr. Kate is Dr. Jeff and Carol's daughter. She told her parents she wanted to be a chiropractor when she was 3 years old. After graduating from Sherman Chiropractic in 2004 she moved to Bluffton to practice here with her father. Dr. Kate is married to "Coach Hop." Together they have 4 children. Dr. John is Dr. Jeff and Carol's youngest son. He went to Life University and after graduation married his high school sweetheart Anne. They have 2 boys. We are truly a family practice, we are a family and we take care of families! We have continued to grow our practice. We have added 4 more doctors to our practice, Dr. Courtney, Dr. Lori, Dr. Joe and Dr. Lina. Our mission is to help as many people as possible! We want to help each and every person live to their fullest potential.

Spotlight on Dr. Lina ✨

Dr. Lina’s story is one of dedication, growth, and a true heart for serving others. She first joined our office as a chiropractic assistant, and from day one, her passion for patient care was undeniable. Watching her journey has been one of our greatest joys; from assisting in the office to pursuing chiropractic school, and then returning to serve our community as a doctor.

Originally from Colombia, South America, Dr. Lina brings a rich cultural perspective and a deep commitment to ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and supported. Her ability to connect with our Hispanic patients, and communicate with them in Spanish, has been a tremendous gift to our practice. She helps patients feel at home, understood, and empowered in their healthcare.

Dr. Lina’s warmth, empathy, and dedication shine through in everything she does. We’re so proud of her journey, grateful to have her on our team, and inspired by the way she continues to uplift our community every single day. 💙

Spotlight on Dr. John!

Dr. John has been part of our team since 2006. For nearly two decades, he has brought dedication, energy, and a genuine passion for patient care to our office every single day.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dr. John brings that same sense of teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm into the treatment rooms. Over the years, he has developed a particular affinity for working with our senior population. His patience, encouragement, and ability to meet patients exactly where they are has made him a favorite among our geriatric patients.

Whether he’s helping a patient maintain mobility, regain confidence, or stay active enough to keep doing the things they love, Dr. John always goes above and beyond. His goal is simple but powerful: to help our seniors stay moving, stay independent, and stay engaged in life.

Coach Hop teaches at Bluffton High School and is the head football coach there. They have 4 children. Dr. John is Dr. Jeff and Carol's youngest son. He went to Life University and after graduation married his high school sweetheart Anne. Anne is a Technology Specialist with the school system. They have 2 boys. Carol is our Office Manager and has been for 30 years. We are truly a family practice, we are a family and we take care of families! We also have Dr. Courtney, Dr. Lori, Dr. Joe and Dr. Lina in out practice. Our mission is to help as many people as possible! We want to help each and every person live to their fullest potential.
