🤝 Men’s Coordinator - part time
As we prepare for the retirement of our incredible Men’s Coordinator, Greg Thornton, we are seeking someone to continue his legacy of wisdom, compassion, and mentorship with the men we serve. This part-time role (10-16 hours per week) offers flexibility and ideally includes availability for some evening hours.

🌱 Advancement Director - full time
Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and advancing a mission that transforms families? This role focuses on telling the story of Helping Hands’ impact and strengthening community investment in our work.

🗂️ Office Coordinator - part time
We’d love someone who can create a welcoming, hospitable environment for every person who walks through our doors - while also supporting and enhancing day-to-day office operations.

Do you have a heart for hospitality? Love to cook or see people gather people around the table? 🍽️

At Helping Hands, we host 28 home-cooked meals throughout the year for our parenting groups, children’s classes, and Family Life Group events. These meals do more than feed bodies - they create connection, community, and a welcoming space for the families we serve.

We can’t do this without you! Meals have been lovingly provided by:
• Groups of friends
• Bible studies
• Church mission committees
• Volunteer groups
• Families serving together

This year at Christmas time, our focus turns to the Three Wise Men, who play such a symbolic role in the Nativity story and in the celebration of our Savior’s birth. Their journey was marked by intentionality, sacrifice, and reverence, as they traveled great distances to offer meaningful gifts that reflected their faith and devotion.

We have witnessed the power of gifts given with purpose - gifts that require intentionality, investment and hope. Each contribution and act of generosity we have received is more than a donation; it is a reflection of faith in what’s to come and a shared belief in the impact this mission will continue to have on families and our community.

WOW! We are so grateful to Head Start Save the Children for their incredible generosity 🤍

They gifted our children’s programming with individual snacks that are organic and have no added sugar! As we invest in children’s emotional, developmental, and spiritual well-being, we’re also mindful of their physical health and what we provide while they’re in our care.

Head Start is established in Jay, Randall and Blackford county, and planning to open a facility here in Wells County in February! We’re excited to work alongside them!

Helping Hands’ Christmas Party ♥️ One of our favorite moments each year is gathering together at the end of the season - to laugh, connect, and create memories side by side. Most of all, it’s a time to celebrate with one another and pause to remember the true reason for the season.

The birth of Jesus is a gift to each of us, and His life and example continue to shape the way we love and care for every family who walks through our doors. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside these families and be part of their stories ❤️
