Terry McGrath, MSN, FNP-BC, NASM- CPT, recently moved from the Midwest to HHI in the Spring of 2024, and is excited to be part of the OsteoStrong coaching team in Bluffton, SC. With a Masters degree in Nursing, board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and a recent certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in personal training, Terry is eager to share her professional and personal experience with each OsteoStrong client interested in improving bone density, strength, balance, endurance and their overall wellbeing. Terry has dedicated the last 35 + years to caring for adults ~ emphasizing good nutrition and the importance of regular exercise.

Diagnosed with Osteoporosis over a decade ago, Terry recognizes the challenge of navigating the many options for treatment and management that are available today. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share with our members a new approach to mechanically loading bones in a safe, efficient and effective way that has proven to increase bone mineral density, improve posture and lift spirits! Terry is eager to share and instruct our clients on how this can improve and change their lives ~ empowering them to remain active and fit throughout their lifespan.

Meet The Team!

Perry Bonomo has been a Physical Therapist since 1993, graduating with a Masters of Arts in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Dix Hills, NY. He founded and operated Madison Spine and Physical Therapy, which grew to include six practices. Madison Spine & Physical Therapy was awarded the #1 Physical Therapy practice in Bergen and Passaic counties in New Jersey. During this period, Perry also co-authored two published books on back pain. In 2010, Perry eventually sold his practices to USPH, a publicly traded company. After helping develop a biometric app that’s been downloaded over 2.5 million times in over 200 countries, Perry returned to the Physical Therapy industry where he currently co-owns 2 practices.

Perry first heard of OsteoStrong from his sister-in-law who was attending an OsteoStrong center in Sioux Falls, SD. She had reported notable improvements in strength and posture, and wanted to introduce Perry to this revolutionary system. Perry’s treatment philosophy has always been self care. Ways people can empower themselves to take care of their body. OsteoStrong represents his philosophy and values when it comes to care and it is a main driving factor for Perry.

🎉 Member Spotlight: Linda Barcellona 🎉
Huge congratulations to Linda on an exceptional improvement in her bone density! 🦴✨

Her T-score improved from -2.5 (osteoporosis) to -0.7 (normal range) in her lumbar spine(!!!)

She also showed improvement in her hip going from a -1.4 to a -1.1, nearly leaving osteopenia all together in her hip.

In addition to bone density improvements, Linda has shown notable improvements in her posture, strength, and balance.

This was achieved without drugs or medication, just consistency, commitment, and dedication to her weekly OsteoStrong sessions. 💪

Lori Szalay brings over 30 years of experience in the wellness industry, specializing in many different areas of health and wellness including being a Posture and Body Alignment Specialist, Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Golf Fitness Specialist, and Group Fitness Instructor. Starting out in the industry 33 years ago as a Fitness Instructor was just something fun to do and soon became a passion for her and then a full time career. Prior to moving to the Low Country, Lori resided in metro Atlanta as a personal trainer and fitness instructor which led her to creating, managing and coaching a successful outdoor Fitness BootCamp business for 18 years. During this time through her program she witnessed so many clients transform their lives,

not only physically but mentally as well, realizing her true passion was to help others become healthy and happy! Along the way after dealing with back pain and surgery Lori was introduced to posture and alignment techniques with the Gokhale method that eliminated her back pain which led to her studying with the techniques creator and becoming a teacher so she could help others with their posture and body alignment so they too could live more comfortably.

Fast forward to living in Sun City Hilton Head; these past 6 years Lori uses her knowledge, training, experience and enthusiasm to assist members of the community to live healthy and strong. When Lori learned about OsteoStrong and she knew with her 30+ years of experience in the Wellness Industry that being a coach would be a perfect fit. Having such a diverse background in many facets in the Wellness Fitness Industry allows Lori to share many techniques and advice with OsteoStrong clients.
