Mix & Mingle on Christmas Eve was a very special treat as our residents got to see Mrs . Claus and Elf!!! Armand DeMille of course did an amazing job performing for our residents as always!!! Chocolate martinis and Long Island Ice Tea was the special Holiday refreshment for the afternoon along with enjoying some trail mix to snack on! 🎄❤️

The gingerbread house crafting was completed and they really didn’t turn out bad at all!! Way to go Vineyard, and our Arbor residents enjoyed decorating cookies along with sampling as they decorated!!! Fun afternoon!!!

Today was Holiday crafting with Ashley, our Select Fitness Instructor. Vineyard residents enjoyed the session crafting as we made Holiday snow globes! After selecting the perfect ribbon and decorative pieces they started putting their craft together! The final finish was adding Green & Red M&M’s inside their snow globes! A few of the candies got eaten in the process but in the end they were all very proud of their accomplishments! Awesome job everyone!!

As I walked the hallways at Vineyard today, I was very impressed with our residents and their enthusiasm to “Decking the Halls”! I love how the decorations add a warm presence to our community! Great job! I can’t wait till we go on our groups “Parade of Homes” tour to see their Christmas trees and other decorations in their homes!!!

Today our residents participated in a game they had to wear oven mitts and then had 1 minute to try and unwrap a ball of cellophane that had different items wrapped inside of the plastic wrap! When time was up the mits got passed on to next resident! What ever items they were able to retrieve as they unwrapped the plastic wrap, they could keep! It was definitely a challenge for them but they each got a turn and a special prize for their efforts!! Great job everyone!

Thank you to Gail & Friends for the wonderful afternoon Holiday party filled with Christmas singalongs and prayer! After their performance we enjoyed some tasty Christmas cookies along with a cup of hot delicious spiced apple cider. Our Vineyard residents truly enjoyed the afternoon celebrating the meaning of Christmas!

Today we gathered to say goodbye as one of our residents was leaving our Vineyard community. Harold “Gus” B.. we will miss your presence here but are super excited for your new beginnings. Happy Holidays to you! And thank you for being our Resident Council President!

Thank you Alliance Dance Academy for giving our resident’s a wonderful Sunday afternoon Christmas dance performance!! They just loved seeing your studio, decorating Christmas cookies, and making their own Christmas ornaments! Such a well planned out event for all to enjoy! I know the best part was for them, other than watching each talented dance performance, was getting to see Santa Claus!! What a treat!
