I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: DIRFloortime® Basic Certificate from ICDL DIRFloortime®! I am thrilled to offer this approach to families and children in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties. I accept all insurances, including Medicaid, CareSource, etc.
DIR/Floortime is an alternative therapeutic approach for individuals and children with autism, and other developmental delays. The model involves using individual, developmental, and play-based approaches to help individuals and children generalize meaningful, social-emotional changes vs. teaching rote, specific, program skills that more traditional therapies like ABA teach. Research continuously shows that developmental approaches show meaningful, effective changes!!
